As the industry gets ready for Bowl Expo, InterGame magazine’s June issue by Lee Wild features Player One Amusement Group (P1AG) in a special piece exploring how arcades continue to grow alongside bowling in entertainment centers.
Our CEO, John Kolliniatis, offered practical advice on how operators can design game rooms that boost both guest satisfaction and revenue.
“Start with a high-energy racing game like Mario Kart or Monster Kart—they’re instant crowd-pleasers,” John shared. “Then add crane machines with a range of prize sizes, redemption staples like basketball and coin pushers, and classics like foosball or even VR.”
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to balancing bowling and arcade space.
“Some centers dedicate 30–40% of space to arcades, while others scale down their lanes to make room for mini golf, laser tag, or a larger attraction mix. It really depends on your guests, goals, and available space.”
P1AG also supports operators through a revenue share model, managing the game mix, maintenance, prizes, and performance—while sharing the profits.
